How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Dressing tables have two builds in one: the table itself and a mirror that attaches on top. The order matters. The carcass goes together first, checked for square, and the drawers fitted and adjusted before the mirror system goes on. Fitting the mirror bracket to an out-of-square carcass means the mirror tilts even after the bracket is set plumb. The mirror bracket on most dressing tables is a two-part system: a base that bolts to the back of the carcass, and an upright the mirror hangs from. The base needs to be centred horizontally and set at the right height before the carcass top is locked, because the top cap covers the bolt heads. The upright then slots into the base and clamps at the right tilt. Most uprights have a single forward-tilt position and no side adjustment, so getting the base level is the only chance to get the mirror plumb. Dressing stools, where the design includes one, usually have threaded legs that can be adjusted to height. The adjustment on most designs is a metal collar at the top of each leg. Setting all four collars to the same position gives a level seat. On stools with padded seats, the seat attaches with screws from the underside of the frame and the screw positions can shift if the padding is compressed unevenly during fitting. If you are above the ground floor with no lift, mention it when you book so timing can be planned around it. Photos are taken when the job is done.
