How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

A wall mirror sounds like a simple hang but the bracket matters more than it looks. Most mirrors heavier than about 5kg use a French cleat or a wall bracket that distributes the weight across at least two fixing points. The bracket needs to be level before the mirror goes up, because a bracket that is 2mm out of level across 600mm will be clearly visible once the mirror is hung. A level check with a spirit level rather than an eye check makes the difference. The anchor type needs to match the wall. Plasterboard walls require a cavity anchor or a toggle bolt rated for the weight of the mirror. Masonry walls take a plug and screw. Original plaster-on-timber-lath walls, which are common in inner-city terrace houses and apartments in older buildings, need a screw into a lath or a specialist cavity anchor. The wrong anchor in plasterboard does not fail immediately; it slowly works loose under the static weight of the mirror and the small oscillations from a door closing nearby. Heavy mirrors, particularly those with bevelled edges and thick glass, often weigh significantly more than the box suggests. The bracket supplied in the kit is rated for the mirror, but the wall anchor needs to match the actual wall type you have, not just the bracket's stated rating. Flat-pack waste gets stacked neatly before finishing. Inner-city streets and apartment blocks are familiar territory, including access situations with tight stairwells or lifts that need to be booked in advance.
