How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Bar cabinets are typically a combination of a carcass with drawers, a wine rack section, and glass shelving, and each part has its own sequence. The carcass goes together first, squared and the back panel seated, before any of the internal fittings go in. The wine rack inserts on most designs are slotted panels that lock together at right angles. The sequence of insertion matters: on a six-bottle rack, for example, alternate vertical and horizontal panels slot together and the last panel cannot go in if the others are not in the right position. Glass shelves in bar cabinets need to be fitted with the clips at the correct angle against the side panel. Forcing a clip in at the wrong angle bends the clip, which then holds the shelf at a slight tilt. The shelves are also usually reversible in appearance but not in load-bearing orientation. Most glass shelves for this application have a polished edge at the front and a ground edge at the back. The ground edge sits on the clip; the polished edge faces out. Door hinges on bar cabinets are the same fully adjustable cabinet hinge used on most flat-pack storage. The key step is that the carcass needs to be square before the hinges are fitted. A door hung on an out-of-square carcass will have uneven gaps at top and bottom that no amount of hinge adjustment can fully correct.
