How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Office chairs are the most consistently misassembled item in any office delivery. The steps are simple but each one has a correct direction and a wrong one. The gas cylinder goes into the base first. The cylinder sits in a tapered socket in the star base and is held by friction. It needs to be pressed fully into the base while the base is on the floor, not held in the air. Once fully seated, the chair body drops onto the cylinder, not the other way around. The back attaches to the seat at the back bracket. On most ergonomic chairs, this bracket allows height adjustment after fitting, but the initial position needs to be set before the back is bolted because the adjustment range is limited. Getting the back height right at the fitting step means the lumbar support is in the right zone without additional adjustment. Arm rests on office chairs can usually be fitted before or after the back, but the height setting needs to happen before the arm rest cap is locked. Once the cap is on, the height is fixed. Most arms allow between 80mm and 120mm of height range via a push-button mechanism inside the arm column. The left and right arms need to be at the same height before the caps go on. Casters push into the base legs and need to be fully seated. A half-seated caster will roll freely but pull out of the socket under the weight of the chair.
