How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Electric standing desks have a frame that needs to be fully assembled before the control unit is connected. The two leg columns need to be at the same height before the cross-bar goes between them. Most frames allow height adjustment via a collar or lock ring on the column. Setting both columns to the same collar position gives the right starting point, but the final level check needs to happen after the cross-bar is in place, because the bar pulls the columns slightly when it is tightened. The control unit on most motorised frames needs to be attached to the underside of the cross-bar before the desk top goes on. The cable from the control unit routes to each leg column, and the routing needs to be planned before the top goes on because the cables run inside the frame rail. Most frames have a clip rail on the underside for the cable; the clips need to be positioned before the top is attached so the cables do not hang loose under the desk. The desk top attaches to the frame with bolts from the underside. The top needs to be centred on the frame before the bolts go in. On wide desk tops, 1.8 metres and above, the overhang needs to be even on both sides and the cable spine position confirmed before locking down. Coverage spans the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, South Sydney and the inner city. Photos of the finished piece are part of every job. A photo of the box or a link to the product page is enough to quote it.
