Trampoline assembly has a fixed sequence set by the manufacturer that cannot be varied. The frame legs go in first, one by one around the frame. The frame rail sections connect the legs. The jumping mat spring attachments start from a fixed point on the frame and work around in a set direction.
The spring attachment sequence on a round trampoline matters because the mat tension builds as each spring is attached. Attaching springs out of the set sequence creates unbalanced tension on the mat that makes the remaining springs progressively harder to attach. On a large trampoline, attaching springs out of sequence can make the last springs near-impossible to connect.
Net enclosure poles slide into the frame leg sockets and need to be confirmed fully seated before the net is attached. A pole that is not fully seated will pull out under the tension of the net. On a trampoline with a net that encloses all the way to the mat level, the lower net attachment points are confirmed before the upper poles are tensioned.
Safety padding covers the springs and the frame rail around the perimeter. The padding is attached after the net is confirmed. The padding straps need to be secured so the padding cannot slide when someone climbs onto the trampoline. Jobs run across the inner city, City Fringe, South Sydney and the Eastern Suburbs.
