What our customers say
“I hardly ever leave reviews, but I had to in this case because I can't recommend Quentin highly enough. I've used Quentin for more than three years for so many jobs I've lost count, and he has been exceptional every time. He is efficient, capable, professional, and incredibly organised. He can assemble or install just about any piece of furniture or equipment, no matter how complicated, including huge wardrobes and bunk beds.”
“I would recommend Quentin, he was very professional and worked efficiently. Great value, would contact again for future work.”
“Quentin did a fantastic job on multiple pieces of furniture and commercial shelving, have used multiple times and highly recommend. Always on time, nice, professional and great attitude. Thank you!”
How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Exercise bikes are a mid-complexity cardio build. The frame, crank, pedals, seat, and handlebar all need to be confirmed correctly before first use. The main frame usually arrives in one piece for upright bikes, or as two halves for recumbent bikes. On an upright bike, the stabiliser feet go on before the frame is stood and need to be confirmed tight, because a loose foot allows the frame to rock under pedalling load. The crank arms on an exercise bike are the levers that the pedals attach to. On most home exercise bikes, the crank arms are separate from the flywheel axle and bolt onto it. The left and right crank arms need to be at 180 degrees to each other, not parallel. A left and right crank that are parallel will mean both dead spots occur at the same time, making the bike feel like it lurches. Pedals on an exercise bike thread into the crank arms. The right pedal has a standard right-hand thread and the left pedal has a left-hand thread. Threading the left pedal clockwise will strip the thread in the crank arm. The pedals are usually labelled L and R. The seat post slides into the frame and is locked by a quick-release clamp or a bolt. The seat height should be set before the console is positioned, because the seat height is the primary ergonomic adjustment and setting it early avoids the need to adjust later. Handlebar stems are torqued to the specification in the instructions. Under-torqued handlebar stems will shift under load. Work covers South Sydney, St George, the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and the inner city. Photos are taken when the job is done.
