How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Treadmills are among the most involved cardio machine builds because the belt tension, belt tracking, and deck level all need to be set before the machine is used. The frame goes together first. On a folding treadmill, the folding mechanism needs to be confirmed fully latched before the uprights are stood. An upright that is not fully latched at the fold point will move when the uprights are pushed, making the bolt at the top of the fold difficult to align. The deck is the running surface board that the belt wraps around. The deck bolts to the frame before the belt goes on. The deck level affects the belt tracking: a deck that is higher on one side will cause the belt to migrate toward the lower side during use. Confirming the deck is level before the belt is tensioned avoids de-tensioning the belt to re-level the deck later. Belt tension is set by two bolts at the rear of the treadmill frame, one on each side. The bolts are turned equally in quarter-turn increments until the belt has the right tension. Setting the bolts equally keeps the belt centred. An uneven belt will pull to one side and wear unevenly on that edge. The console connects to the motor and incline motor by cable. The cables route under the uprights and need to be confirmed connected before the console is fitted. Powering on the treadmill with a console cable not fully seated can damage the console display. Lubrication between the belt and deck is applied before first use on most designs. Flat-pack deliveries to apartments come with their own version of every problem: tight door frames, no service lift, and floors that mark easily. A photo of the assembled piece from the store website is all we need to quote it accurately.
