How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Traditional saunas are larger and heavier than infrared saunas, and the panel sequence is more involved because of the integrated bench frame. The floor panel goes down first, on a flat and level surface. Traditional saunas are heavier than infrared models, and a floor that is slightly uneven will be more noticeable in the finished structure because the wall panels are thicker and any out-of-square will be visible at the bench rail level. Wall panels are joined in sequence starting from a corner. Most traditional sauna kits specify a starting wall panel and a direction of assembly. Following the specified sequence ensures the last panel to go on has access to its corner bolt holes from outside the structure. If the sequence is reversed, the last panel may not be accessible for bolting. The bench frame is fitted to the inside wall panels before the upper roof panels go on. The bench frame is a series of horizontal rails that bolt to pre-drilled holes in the side and rear wall panels. The bench height is fixed by the hole position. The bench boards rest on the rails and are not usually bolted to them on traditional sauna designs. Ventilation vents on traditional saunas are small panels or inserts in the wall panels that allow fresh air into the lower part of the sauna. The vent position is specified in the instructions and the vent needs to be installed before the adjacent wall panel is joined, because the vent fits into the panel edge. The roof panels go on last, spanning across the wall panel tops. The roof panel bolts need to align with the wall panel tops before being driven.
