How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Ergonomic chairs are more involved to assemble than a standard office chair because there are more adjustments to make, and more of them need to be set during assembly rather than after. The back bracket is the first thing that needs attention. On most high-end ergonomic chairs, the back attaches to a central column that runs through the seat mechanism. The column height setting determines where the lumbar support sits relative to the seat, and this setting needs to be fixed before the back is bolted because the column is locked by the same bolt that fixes the back. The seat depth slider on most ergonomic chairs is a rail mechanism under the seat pan that allows the pan to move forward and back relative to the seat mechanism. This needs to be set to the middle position before the cylinder is loaded, because adjusting it after requires lifting the user slightly off the seat to release the lock. Arm rests on ergonomic chairs have more adjustment axes than standard office chair arms. Height, pivot angle, and sometimes side-to-side position are all independently adjustable. The height and pivot are usually set before the arm cap is locked. Getting both arms at the same height before the caps go on means the adjustment is stable and repeatable; adjusting height through the cap is possible on some designs but limited in range. The gas cylinder seats the same way as a standard chair: pressed into the base while the base is on the floor, then the seat mechanism drops onto it.
