How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Computer desks often have more components than a standard office desk: a monitor shelf or hutch above the desktop, a keyboard tray under the front edge, and a cable management tower or spine running vertically from the back of the desk to the floor. The sequence is strict. The vertical cable tower, if the design has one, goes in before the desktop is bolted because it sits between the desktop and the back frame rail. The monitor shelf bolts to the back of the desktop from above, and that bolt pattern needs to be set before the hutch or shelf is positioned. Keyboard trays slide on runners that attach to the underside of the desktop. The runners need to be parallel and at the same front-to-back position on both sides, or the tray will rack when pulled out. Most keyboard tray runners are fitted with the desk in the normal upright position, which means reaching under the desktop, and the bolt holes are pre-drilled. Fitting them before the desk is stood upright is not always possible because the runner position depends on knowing where the desk will be placed. Monitor shelves on computer desks are often the last thing fitted but should not be. The shelf bracket bolts go through the desktop from the top, and the bolt heads sit above the desktop surface when the hutch is not in place. The bracket needs to be fitted before the hutch, not after. Coverage spans the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West, South Sydney and the inner city. Completion photos are taken as part of every booking.
