How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Boardroom tables are the largest flat-pack items in the office category. Most designs consist of multiple desktop panels that join at a centre line, two or more base units, and a cable management spine or power module system. The base units go together first. Each base is its own assembly with a column, a foot plate, and a cap that accepts the desktop bracket. The foot plate adjusters need to be set level before the column is locked, because the column position is fixed once the base is assembled. Two base units that are at different heights will cause the desktop to rock. Desktop panels on large boardroom tables join at a centre rail or a bolt that pulls the panels tight from below. The join needs to be flush across the top surface. Running a straightedge across the join before the bolt is fully tightened allows the position to be corrected while it is still possible to shift one panel slightly. Power modules and cable tiles in a boardroom table are set into cut-outs in the desktop surface. The cut-out positions are pre-determined by the table design and need to align with the cable spine that runs under the join. If the cable spine is not in position before the desktop panels are placed, the modules cannot be seated correctly.
