Executive furniture assembly covers boardroom tables, executive desks, credenzas, and meeting room furniture. These pieces are typically larger, heavier, and more visible than standard office furniture. The build sequence is the same as any furniture build, but the margin for visible error is smaller.
Boardroom tables are built in two stages: base units first, desktop second. The base units need to be levelled and confirmed before the desktop is placed, because the desktop weight will lock the base units at their current position once it is on. On a boardroom table with two or more base units, each unit is levelled before the desktop is placed across all units.
Power modules in a boardroom table sit in pre-cut holes in the desktop. The modules need to be fully seated before the table is in its final position, because access to the underside of the table is restricted once the table is against a wall or in the centre of a room with chairs placed around it.
Credenzas and storage walls in an executive space are built in the same carcass sequence as any storage unit. The doors are adjusted flush and handles confirmed at the same height before the piece is complete.
