How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Desk dividers are acoustic or visual panels that attach to a desktop edge via clamp brackets, or stand free on weighted or pinned feet. The build approach differs between the two types. Clamp-mounted dividers use a metal bracket that bolts through the divider frame and clamps to the desktop edge from above and below. The bracket bolt needs to be torqued evenly on both sides or the frame will tilt toward the tighter side. On a long run of dividers between multiple desks, all the clamp brackets need to be at the same height above the desktop surface, or the panel tops will be uneven. Freestanding dividers on weighted feet need the feet to be confirmed flat on the floor before the panels are stood. A foot that is slightly twisted will cause the panel to lean. Most freestanding dividers have a levelling pad on each foot that adjusts with a quarter-turn. Multi-panel divider systems join panel to panel with a connector strip or a post. The connector strip clips over the edge of two panels and locks both in the same plane. Getting the panel tops aligned before the strip is pressed on is important because the strip is a friction fit and does not allow adjustment once in position. Acoustic foam fill inside some divider panels can shift during transport. If the panel has an inspection port or a removable cover, confirming the fill is evenly distributed before fitting the cover is part of the job. Most inner-Sydney buildings mean carrying pieces up stairs at some point. That is factored in. Photos of the finished piece are part of every job.
