How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Workstation pods are modular office systems where multiple desks share a central frame and privacy screens. The build sequence is more involved than a single desk because the shared frame needs to be level and square before any individual desktop is fitted. The central frame on a pod system is usually a beam-and-column structure. The columns are levelled with adjustable feet before the cross-beams are tightened. The cross-beam bolt torque is what pulls the columns vertical, so the level check needs to happen before the beams are fully tightened. Once all beams are at the right torque, the frame should be rigid and level on all axes. Cable trays and management rails on pod systems attach to the underside of the central beam before the desktops go on. These are the components most often left to the end on a self-build, which means pulling desktops again to fit them. Getting the trays in before the tops saves that step. Privacy screens on pod systems clamp to the desktop surface or to a rail on the top of the central beam. Most screen rails have a twist-lock that requires the screen to be rotated slightly to engage the lock. Confirming the lock is engaged on both ends of each screen before moving on is necessary because a screen that is only locked on one end will tilt and fall. Desktop surfaces on pod systems usually have cable grommets and power module cut-outs that need to align with the power module positions before the tops are locked down.
