How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Outdoor tables come in timber, metal, and composite tops with either trestle or pedestal bases. The frame and top sequence is the same regardless of material. The base frame goes together first. On a trestle base, the two end trestles connect via a central beam or cross-rail. The cross-rail bolt needs to be at the torque specified before the top goes on, because the cross-rail carries all the lateral load from the top and a loose bolt will allow the frame to rack in use. On a pedestal base, the column bolts to a base plate and the top fits to the column via a bracket. The base plate bolts need to be confirmed in the floor or confirmed tight against the ground before the top is placed. A pedestal base that is not level will tilt the top. Tabletop slats on timber or aluminium outdoor tables are individual boards that lay across the frame rails. The slats need to be fully seated against each other at the visible joint before the through-bolts are driven. A slat that is 1mm off the adjacent slat will be held in that position by the through-bolt, and the gap will open further as the timber dries. Hole alignment on a solid panel top needs to be confirmed before the panel is placed on the frame. Most solid tops are heavy, and lifting a solid top to shift a hole position after it is placed is difficult. Adjustable feet are set after the frame is assembled and the table is in its final position. Setting the feet before moving the table will leave them at the wrong height for the surface.
