How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Outdoor daybeds are a wide lounging platform, often with a canopy frame. The platform frame needs to be level before the cushion slats go on, and the canopy frame needs to be built last. The platform frame goes together first: two long side rails and two short end rails joined at the corners by bolts. The corner bolt positions are usually inside the rail ends, and the bolts go in before the frame is stood upright. Driving the corner bolts with the frame flat is easier than trying to reach into the corners from above once the frame is upright. Cross-bars or support slats span the two long side rails and carry the mattress or cushions. The cross-bars need to be evenly spaced and confirmed seated at both ends before the mattress is placed. A cross-bar that is not fully seated at one end will deflect under load and create a noticeable low point in the sleeping surface. Legs bolt to the underside of the frame at each corner and sometimes at the mid-span. Leg bolts need to be confirmed tight before the platform is loaded. Adjustable feet on the legs are set after the frame is in its final position. Canopy posts on daybeds with a canopy are tall uprights that bolt to the platform corners. The posts need to be confirmed vertical before the canopy frame goes on. The canopy frame is the last component and is confirmed tight before any fabric is placed on the frame. A lot of Sydney deliveries mean a lift that needs booking, a tight stairwell, or a street with no loading bay. That is normal territory. Photos of the finished piece are part of every job.
