How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Monkey bars are a horizontal ladder structure that children traverse hand-over-hand. The two end frames need to be levelled and anchored before the horizontal bars are fitted. The end frames go together first. Each end frame is two vertical posts connected by a top horizontal rail and sometimes a lower diagonal brace. The posts need to be at the same height on each frame, and the frame needs to be plumb on both faces before the top rail bolt is confirmed. A frame that is not plumb will cause the monkey bars to angle slightly when the end frames are joined. Once both end frames are built, they need to be levelled in their final position. Most monkey bar end frames have adjustable feet or are staked into the ground. The final ground position needs to be set before the bars go on, because adding the bars locks the end frames at their current spacing and angle. Horizontal bars span the two end frames. The bars are usually round tubing that slots into bracket holes in the end frame top rails. The bracket bolts go through the top rail from the outside and need to be confirmed tight before any weight is applied. A bar with a loose bracket bolt will rotate when gripped and pulled. Bar spacing is typically 30-35cm on most designs. Confirming all bars are at equal spacing before the bolts are confirmed avoids one gap being noticeably wider. Ground stakes for the end frames go in after the bar spacing is confirmed, because the stakes lock the position of the end frames.
