How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Outdoor slides are a frame-and-chute combination. The frame needs to be confirmed plumb and anchored before the slide chute is fitted. The frame goes together first. Most standalone outdoor slides have two side frames that connect at the top platform and at the base. The side frames are usually ladder-like structures: two vertical posts connected by horizontal rungs. The rungs need to be at equal spacing and confirmed tight before the frame is stood upright, because the rung bolt heads face inward and are difficult to access once the frame is upright. The platform at the top of the frame is where the user sits before descending. The platform deck bolts to the top cross-member of both side frames. The platform needs to be confirmed level before the slide chute is attached. A platform that is not level will cause the slide to aim to one side rather than straight down. The slide chute attaches to the underside of the platform at the top and to a base bar at the bottom. The chute bolt at the platform end goes through the platform deck from above. The chute bolt at the base goes through the frame base rail. Both bolts need to be confirmed tight before the slide is used. Handrails along the sides of the slide chute on designs that include them attach to the side rails of the chute. The handrail bolts need to be confirmed before first use. Ground anchoring uses the same stake-and-anchor approach as a swing set. The frame base rails need to be anchored before the slide is used.
