How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Swing sets are a multi-component outdoor build that requires the A-frame legs to be anchored before any swing is loaded. The A-frame leg pairs go together first. Each A-frame is two legs joined at the top by a peak bracket. The peak bracket bolt needs to be confirmed tight before the cross-beam goes on, because the cross-beam will try to spread the two A-frames as it is tightened, and a loose peak bolt will allow the top of the frame to spread. The cross-beam spans the two A-frames and is the main structural member that carries the swings. The cross-beam connects to the A-frame peak bracket via a bolt or a clamp. The cross-beam needs to be level before the swings are attached, because an unlevel cross-beam will cause the swing chains to be at different lengths on each side even when adjusted to the same height. Leg anchoring is the safety step that most self-builds skip. The A-frame legs need to be anchored by ground stakes or by bolted base plates. A swing set that is not anchored will tip forward when a child swings and reaches the forward extension of the arc. The required stake depth is usually in the instructions and depends on the soil type. Swing chains attach to hangers that bolt to the cross-beam. The hangers need to be confirmed tight before the chain is attached. Chain height is set by the number of links above the seat attachment. Slide attachments for combination sets bolt to the A-frame and need to be confirmed tight before first use. Inner-city streets often have no loading zone and limited parking.
