How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Bike sheds are compact storage structures and follow the same build sequence as a metal garden shed, with the additional consideration of the door system that typically opens across the full width of the shed front. The base frame goes together first. A bike shed base frame is usually a simple rectangle of steel channels. The channels need to be level before any panels go up. On a bike shed placed on paving, the adjustable base frame feet allow the frame to be levelled on an uneven surface. Wall panels clip to the base frame and to each other, starting from one corner. On a narrow bike shed, the side panels are long and narrow and may be bowed in transit. Checking for bow before fitting avoids discovering it once adjacent panels are already clipped in. The roof panel spans from front to back on most bike sheds and is a single piece or two pieces joined at the ridge. On designs with a ridge, the ridge cap is fitted after both roof panels are in position. Door tracks for a bike shed with sliding doors are fitted to the front panel. The top track is a channel that the door hangs from, and the bottom track is a guide groove. The top track needs to be level and confirmed at the same height across its full width before the doors are hung. The door rollers need to be confirmed seated in the top track before the door is loaded. A roller not fully seated will jump the track when the door is pushed hard.
