How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Metal garden sheds are flat-pack steel panel systems. The base frame is the most critical component and needs to be level before any panels are fitted. The base frame is usually a kit of steel channels that form a rectangle on the ground. The channels connect at corners and at mid-span points. Confirming the base frame is level and square before any panels go up is essential, because every panel is fixed-size and will not compensate for a base that is out of square. Wall panels clip or bolt to the base frame and to each other at the vertical edges, starting at one corner and working in one direction. Each panel needs to be plumb before the next panel is clipped to it, because a leaning panel will pull the next in the same direction. The roof panels span from the ridge down to the wall tops. On most metal shed designs, the ridge beam goes on before the roof panels. The roof panels attach to the ridge from each side, so the ridge needs to be level before the panels go on. Door tracks for a sliding door system are fitted to the front panel before the doors are hung. The top track and bottom track need to be parallel and at the same distance from the front panel face for the doors to slide smoothly. Sealing the panel bases is done after all panels are plumb and all bolts are at full torque. If you are above the ground floor with no lift, mention it when you book so timing can be planned around it. Before leaving, the assembled piece gets photographed for the record. A photo of the box or a link to the product page is enough to quote it.
