How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Timber garden sheds are built from a floor frame, wall frames, and a roof frame, each of which needs to be level or plumb before the next is fitted. The bearer framework is the foundation. Bearers are horizontal timbers that sit on the ground or on piers and carry the floor frame. The bearers need to be level before the floor frame joists go on. On a shed with adjustable piers, the pier height is set before the bearers are placed. On a shed with fixed-height piers, the bearer packing is done at this stage. The floor frame goes on the bearers. The floor frame is a series of joists across the bearer spans. The floor frame needs to be confirmed flat and square before the floor boards go on. Floor boards that are laid on a floor frame that is twisted will have gaps at one end and be tight at the other. Wall frames go up after the floor is complete. The wall frames are pre-built panels that bolt or nail to the floor frame perimeter. Each wall frame needs to be confirmed plumb before the corner bolts or bracing nails go in. A wall frame that is not plumb will cause the roof rafters to be at different heights at the wall plate. The roof frame goes on after all wall frames are plumb and connected. Most flat-pack timber shed roof frames are a series of pre-cut rafters that sit on the wall plates and connect at the ridge. Cladding, roofing, and doors are fitted after the roof frame is confirmed.
