How we price it

The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Booked in three simple steps

Send a quick quote with your first name, phone and postcode and a photo or description. We send a clear price and you pick a day. We assemble it on-site, take completion photos, and you sign off.

Building gym fitouts for residential apartments and commercial properties are a contained version of a commercial gym build. The space is smaller, but the sequence is the same: anchored equipment first, freestanding equipment last. Power racks in a building gym are usually a single squat rack or a compact functional trainer. The rack base plate anchor bolt positions need to be confirmed against the floor plan before drilling. A rack placed without checking the anchor position can end up blocking a mirror or a door swing. Cardio equipment in a building gym typically includes a treadmill, a stationary bike, and a rowing machine. The treadmill needs a dedicated power outlet within cable reach of its final position. Confirming the outlet position before placing the treadmill avoids having to reposition it after the power cable is run. Rubber flooring in a building gym is usually interlocking tiles. The tiles need to be laid before equipment is placed. The tile layout starts from the centre of the room and works outward, so the cut tiles are at the edges and the full tiles are in the high-traffic zone. Mirrors in a building gym mount to the wall on a horizontal support rail. The rail is fixed to studs at the required height. The level is confirmed across the full run before the first panel is hung. Storage for weights and accessories is a rack or shelf unit. This goes in after cardio and mirror installation so the storage position accounts for the final equipment layout. Work comes from apartments in the inner city, terrace houses in the Inner West and houses across the Eastern Suburbs. Photos of the finished piece are part of every job.
