Business assembly differs from residential assembly in one key way: there is usually a hard deadline tied to a store opening, an office fit-out handover, or a gym launch. The build sequence is planned around that deadline, not discovered on the day.
Retail and showroom fit-outs involve multiple piece types in a single space: gondola shelving runs, display counters, display towers, and store furniture. The sequence is fixed by the floor plan: anchored elements first, freestanding elements last. A gondola run that is positioned before the floor plan is confirmed will block the display counter delivery.
Office fit-outs at volume are a workstation sequencing problem. Frames are levelled and joined before tops are placed. Power module positions are confirmed before tops go on. Privacy screens are locked before the screen is released. Each step in the sequence depends on the previous step being confirmed, because going back to adjust an earlier step requires undoing later ones.
Commercial gym fit-outs have the same anchor-first sequence as residential gym builds, but at volume. All racks are positioned and anchored before any cardio is placed. Cardio is positioned before flooring zones are completed in each area. Whether the building has a goods lift or just a narrow stairwell, access details get sorted before the day.
