How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Breakout furniture is the informal seating and table furniture used in staff lounges, collaboration areas, and café-style spaces within offices. The build sequence prioritises large, fixed pieces before smaller, moveable ones. Soft seating pieces such as modular sofas and armchairs are built first. The frame for each piece goes together before any cushion rails or fabric components are attached. For modular soft seating, each module is built and confirmed before the modules are joined. The joining bolts between modules need to be at full torque before the seating is used. High tables for breakout areas are built in the same sequence as an outdoor bar table: base first, top second, and adjustable feet set last in the final position. High table bases are usually a central pedestal or a crossbar frame. The central pedestal bolt to the base plate needs to be at full torque before the top is placed, because the pedestal carries the full lateral load of any leaning against the top. Bar stools for breakout areas are built the same as any bar stool: base, cylinder, seat, footring. The footring height is set before the stool is put into service. On a set of bar stools, confirming all footrings are at the same height before handing over avoids one stool standing out as different. Teapoint or café-style counters in a breakout area are built the same as a checkout counter or kitchen bench: carcass first, worksurface second, doors third. Any integrated appliance spaces need to be confirmed accessible before the unit is in its final position. Work comes from apartments in the inner city, terrace houses in the Inner West and houses across the Eastern Suburbs. Completion photos are taken as part of every booking.
