How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Garment racks are simpler to assemble than a wardrobe system, but several of the fit checks still need to happen in the right sequence. The frame base goes together first: the lower crossbar connects the two upright columns at the base, and the feet or wheels attach to the column ends. On a rack with wheels, the wheels need to be confirmed fully seated in the column socket before the frame is stood up. A wheel that is only partially seated will pull free of the column when the rack is moved under load. The upper crossbar that carries the hanging rail connects the two uprights near the top of the frame. The crossbar height determines the usable hanging length below the rail, and on most adjustable racks the crossbar height is set by a pin through the upright column at one of several pre-drilled positions. Setting this before the rail is in place is easier because the rail prevents access to the upper pin holes from above. The hanging rail drops into hooks or brackets at each end of the upper crossbar. On a rack with a cover bar or curtain rod above the rail, the cover bar needs to go on before the rail is loaded, because the cover bar bracket sits between the crossbar and the rail and is inaccessible once the rail is in place. Wheels on a garment rack usually have a brake lever. Confirming the brake holds the rack stationary on a hard floor before the rack is loaded avoids having to unload and reload to adjust the brake.
