How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Mirror sliding wardrobes have all the same track and carcass requirements as a standard sliding wardrobe, with the added consideration that mirror door panels are heavier than standard door panels and need to be handled differently. The carcass sequence is the same: sides, top, base, and back panel in that order. The back panel squares the carcass and goes in before the carcass is positioned. On a wardrobe that will have mirror doors, the carcass needs to be in its final position before the doors go up, because repositioning the carcass once the doors are hung risks the doors falling if the carcass shifts. Mirror door panels arrive packaged with foam or cardboard separators. The separators need to stay in place until the door is about to be lifted in. A mirror panel placed on the floor without protection will pick up surface grit that scratches the mirror when the panel is slid to a new position. Pack-out strips on mirror door frames are the thin strips that fill the gap between the mirror panel and the door frame. These are push-fit and need to be seated before the doors go up, because accessing them once the doors are in the track is difficult. Mirror doors are lifted into the top track using the same sequence as standard doors, but the weight requires two people. One person holds the bottom of the door while the other lifts the top into the track channel. Adjusting mirror door plumb uses the same pivot bolt as a standard sliding door, at the bottom of the door frame. A photo of the assembled piece from the store website is all we need to quote it accurately.
