How we price it
The exact price depends on your specific model, since two items that look similar can be very different to build. The most accurate way is to send a photo of the finished item from the store website, or its model reference, when you request your quote. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so several items together in one visit is usually the best value.

Cube storage units are modular grid systems of individual square cells that can be stacked vertically, run horizontally, or combined into an L shape. The build sequence is the same regardless of configuration: the outer frame first, then the internal dividers, then the back panels, then any door or drawer inserts. The outer frame is the top, base, and two side panels. These lock together before any dividers are fitted. Confirming the frame is square at this stage is important because each divider panel is a fixed length and will not compensate for a frame that is out of square. Internal dividers slot into pre-cut grooves or press into cam fittings in the outer frame. The dividers need to be confirmed flush with the front face of the outer frame before the back panels are fitted. A divider that sits 1mm proud of the frame front will prevent the door or drawer insert from closing flush. Back panels on cube storage units are small, thin panels that cover the rear of each cell. On most designs each cell has its own back panel, and the panels are held by small clips or pins. The back panels need to be in before the unit is stood upright or moved into position, because access to the back of the unit is restricted once it is against the wall. Door inserts for individual cells hang on two hinges mounted to the cell frame. The hinge adjustment is the same as any cabinet door: in-out, up-down, side-to-side. Adjusting all doors before loading the cells ensures the hinges are accessible. Work covers South Sydney, St George, the Eastern Suburbs, Inner West and the inner city.
