How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Bondi sits somewhere between a holiday suburb and a full-time residential one, and that mix shows in the furniture people order. Short-stay properties cycle through beds and outdoor pieces more frequently than long-term family homes, and full-time residents in smaller apartments close to the beach tend to invest in storage pieces that work within a tighter footprint. The Art Deco apartment buildings that make up a good share of the housing stock are older construction, with characteristic curved balconies and mosaic foyer tiles, and they have narrower lift interiors and corridors than anything built in the last two decades.
Outdoor furniture accounts for a larger share of jobs here than in most other parts of the coverage area. Balcony dining sets, two and four-seater lounge settings, and low-profile outdoor coffee table combinations that work in a tight balcony footprint all come through regularly. For indoor pieces, orders lean compact and multifunctional: sofa beds for properties that need a lounge and a spare room in the same space, dining tables with folding or extendable leaves, and KALLAX shelving used as both storage and a room boundary in a studio layout. Bed frames with integrated storage are a consistent order given the limited wardrobe space in the older building stock.
The suburb rises steeply away from the beachfront, and some residential streets sit well above street level with front stairs before you reach the building entry. For apartment buildings with underground car parking, the key question is whether the goods lift takes full-length flat panels or whether pieces need to be staged through the residential stairwell. Buildings nearest the beach tend to be older and more likely to present the narrower lift constraint, while those further back toward the quieter residential streets are generally newer construction and easier for delivery access.
