How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Bondi Junction is where a significant portion of eastern suburbs furniture shopping happens. The retail precinct and the Westfield bring through large volumes of flat-pack, and the apartment buildings within easy reach of the train station represent a high proportion of bookings from this area. Most of the residential buildings here are medium to high-rise, purpose-built rather than converted from older stock, which means standard lift dimensions, consistent floor heights and loading access that is generally easier to navigate than the older terrace suburbs nearby.
Bedroom and living room pieces make up the majority of orders. Bed frames, PAX wardrobe systems, KIVIK and FINNALA sofa combinations, and BESTÅ media unit configurations come through regularly. Storage pieces are ordered in high numbers relative to apartment floor area: KALLAX units, BRIMNES chests, ALEX drawer towers and HEMNES dressers. Furniture from the Westfield retailers, Temple & Webster, Freedom and Fantastic Furniture, tends to arrive in more boxes per item than the IKEA equivalent and often takes longer per piece. Multi-item orders from a mixed cart are worth specifying in detail when requesting a quote.
Parking near the apartment buildings around the junction can be constrained during business hours, particularly close to the main retail corridor. Some buildings have a dedicated loading zone or basement goods entry, and confirming the access details before the booking saves complications on the day. Most newer buildings in the area have wide lift interiors that handle large flat panels without staging, but a small number of older blocks on the side streets away from the main transport route work on a narrower footprint and may require a different approach for very long items.
