How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Clovelly is almost entirely residential houses, quiet streets running back from the coastline toward the busier suburb of Randwick. It is a compact suburb, and most bookings come from families or couples who have recently moved or are adding pieces to a settled home rather than furnishing from scratch. The access situation is generally straightforward: houses with direct street frontage, wide entry doors, and hallway widths that accommodate flat panels without any need for creative staging or partial disassembly.
Bedroom furniture makes up the bulk of orders: bed frames, dressers, bedside tables and freestanding wardrobes for houses that have more room for full-size pieces than an apartment would. HEMNES and SONGESAND bedroom ranges come through regularly. KALLAX and BILLY units are popular for study areas and kids' rooms. Outdoor dining and lounge sets are common in this area given the house format, particularly the heavier timber or powder-coated aluminium sets that arrive in multiple boxes and require more assembly time per item than the lighter resin outdoor range.
Some of the renovated period homes have rooms where a wall recess or an alcove is the intended wardrobe location, and freestanding modular systems need to be fitted to a specific gap. Taking final measurements before ordering avoids the complication of a return visit. Polished or oiled timber floors appear throughout many of the older homes in the suburb, and protecting the floor surface from panel corners and tool contact during assembly is taken as standard on those jobs. Floor protection covers every job here, not just the ones where the surface looks expensive.
