How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Coogee has a similar mix to Bondi at a slightly quieter scale: Art Deco apartment buildings along the headland side, houses spread up the slopes, and a proportion of short-stay properties that cycle furniture more regularly than long-term homes. The older apartment buildings in the area are characterised by the curved facade balconies and tiled foyer details that appear across the eastern suburbs Art Deco stock, and they have narrower lift carriages and corridor widths than purpose-built residential towers. For pieces going to upper floors in these buildings, confirming the lift dimensions against a large item is worthwhile before delivery is scheduled.
Outdoor furniture comes through in high volumes from this area. The balcony and courtyard format suits two and four-seater lounge settings, compact outdoor dining tables and the occasional day bed. For indoor pieces, bed frames with storage drawers are ordered regularly from a suburb where the older apartments were built with less wardrobe space than current standards. KALLAX shelving used as a room boundary or as a media unit base is common in the one and two-bedroom apartments, and BILLY bookshelves fill the narrow hallway alcoves in the converted terrace stock.
Houses in the area are concentrated on the slopes back from the beach, and the Federation and Californian bungalow-style homes have wider hallways and direct street access than the terrace format. This makes delivery and assembly substantially more straightforward for larger pieces. Kids' beds, bedroom suites, wardrobe systems and dining sets come through regularly from the family homes. The streets on the hillier sections of the suburb can be steep, and a van parked close to the front door is not always guaranteed, so noting the access situation at booking is helpful.
