What our customers say
“Quentin was extremely efficient and highly skilled. Saved us a lot of time and effort.”
“I hardly ever leave reviews, but I had to in this case because I can't recommend Quentin highly enough. I've used Quentin for more than three years for so many jobs I've lost count, and he has been exceptional every time. He is efficient, capable, professional, and incredibly organised. He can assemble or install just about any piece of furniture or equipment, no matter how complicated, including huge wardrobes and bunk beds.”
“Professional, efficient, reasonably priced. Very recommended.”
How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Randwick is one of the larger inner-eastern suburbs and has a more varied housing mix than most in the coverage area. Victorian and Edwardian terrace rows share the suburb with apartment blocks from several different eras, and the proximity to UNSW means there is a significant student and academic population alongside longer-term family households. The access situation depends on which part of the suburb a job is in: the terrace sections behave like Paddington or Surry Hills, while the apartment blocks near the university have the characteristics of any medium-rise residential building with standard lifts and loading access.
Bedroom furniture comes through in high volume from this suburb. Bookshelves, desk set-ups, bed frames and modular storage combinations are consistent orders from the student population in the apartments and share houses closest to the campus. Study set-ups, ALEX drawer units and MICKE desks in particular, are among the most ordered individual items near the university. From the family homes on the terrace streets, the orders are more typical: wardrobes, dining sets, kids' beds and living room pieces. HEMNES bedroom ranges and PAX wardrobe systems are common across both household types.
The terrace-style homes near the shopping village at the suburb centre have the narrow entry and staircase characteristics that require planning for wider pieces. The apartments on the eastern side of the suburb, including the newer builds, have standard lift access and are generally more straightforward for delivery. Parking on streets near the shopping strip can be limited during peak hours, and confirming whether a loading zone or basement goods entry is available saves complications on the day.
