How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Rose Bay is a harbour-side suburb with a mix of larger detached homes and apartment buildings, ranging from older blocks built in the Art Deco and post-war periods to newer residential towers. The harbour water access and the seaplane base give the suburb a distinct character, and the properties closest to the water tend to have outdoor entertaining areas that make outdoor furniture a consistent order. The detached homes are larger than most in the coverage area and often have dedicated guest bedrooms and study rooms, which means larger total furniture volumes per household.
Outdoor entertaining pieces are among the most common orders. Outdoor dining sets for deck and terrace areas, lounge settings for covered outdoor rooms, and assembled BBQ benches come through regularly from the harbour-facing properties. For indoor pieces, wardrobe systems, bed frames and bedroom furniture are the core orders from the apartments, while the houses generate a broader range: dining sets, entertainment units, bookcase walls and study set-ups in addition to the bedroom pieces. HEMNES and SONGESAND bedroom ranges come through from the apartments, and the houses often order from Freedom, Nick Scali or direct-to-consumer brands.
Apartment buildings in Rose Bay range widely in age and access quality. The older Art Deco and post-war blocks have the narrower lift and corridor characteristics common across the eastern suburbs, while the newer towers have modern dimensions and loading facilities. For the detached homes, access is generally excellent: wide driveways, direct frontage and entry doors that accommodate full flat panels. The suburb's position at the end of the harbour means there is limited through-traffic, which generally makes parking and access easier than in the denser suburbs closer to the CBD.
