How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Vaucluse is the outer harbour suburb at the eastern edge of the coverage area, and it has some of the largest residential properties in the area. Clifftop homes, harbourside houses and larger garden properties on the ridge make up the core of the housing stock, alongside a smaller number of apartment buildings toward the suburb's western approach. The distance from the CBD and the scale of properties means jobs from Vaucluse tend to be either larger single-visit orders or outdoor pieces for the substantial garden and entertaining areas that most properties here have.
Outdoor furniture accounts for a high proportion of orders relative to most suburbs in the coverage area. Large outdoor dining sets, lounge combinations for covered terraces, and assembled outdoor kitchen configurations come through from properties where the outdoor entertaining area is used as a primary living space for much of the year. For indoor pieces, PAX wardrobes, bed frames, dressers and sofa sets follow the pattern of the other larger eastern suburbs, with occasional bookshelves and sideboards in the more established homes. The apartment buildings in the suburb generate a more typical apartment order profile.
Access to properties in Vaucluse is generally good despite the suburb's clifftop and hillside setting. Most houses have generous driveways, and the lack of through-traffic density compared to the inner suburbs means parking is straightforward. Some properties on the clifftop sections are reached via longer internal paths or require carrying pieces from a parked vehicle a distance to the entrance, and for heavy outdoor dining tables and assembled outdoor kitchens, noting that access detail at booking saves time on the day.
