How we price it
Prices are based on the items being assembled and are returned the same day when photos are included with the quote request. A $120 minimum applies per visit, so booking several items together in one visit gives the best value.
Every Zetland apartment is solving the same problem: more furniture than floor space. The newer towers around Green Square station are all working within similar footprints, and what people order reflects it. Storage beds come through constantly, MALM and BRIMNES frames with drawers underneath, or Temple & Webster lift-storage platforms, both recovering meaningful storage from a bedroom that cannot fit a separate chest of drawers. The drawer runners on those frames need to be set parallel across all openings, or the drawers bind, and that step adds time but it is the difference between furniture that works and furniture that becomes a daily irritation.
KALLAX units do more work as room dividers here than anywhere else in the coverage area. A 4x4 or a 2x4 positioned between a sleeping area and a desk or living zone changes the feel of a studio or one-bedder completely. Compact desks come through on most jobs: MICKE, or a LINNMON top on a set of legs, placed at the window or against the bedroom wall. BILLY bookshelves fit into corners and hallways as the first piece of storage that does not eat floor space. Modular wardrobes often have to fit into a recess or work around existing sliding door tracks, and in some apartments the sliding door gear is ceiling-mounted rather than floor-mounted, which changes how the cornice clearance needs to be calculated. Final dimensions are worth confirming before delivery arrives.
Lift access across the apartment buildings in the area varies. Most handle full flat panels without difficulty, but some older residential blocks have narrower lift interiors or include floors served only by stairs. Hard polished floors, common in newer towers, do not forgive a dropped panel edge, so floor protection and careful panel handling are worth flagging at booking. Balcony furniture, corner sofas and outdoor table sets in particular, arrives in several boxes and takes longer to build than any single indoor item suggests.
