BBQ assembly covers flat-pack trolley BBQs, freestanding BBQ stations, and pizza oven stands. The build sequence is frame first, cooking components second. A trolley frame that is not level before the cooking surfaces are placed will have the cooking surfaces at an angle, which affects how fat and liquid drain from the cooking surface during use.
Trolley BBQ frames have a side shelf bracket sequence. The side shelves fold down for storage and need the bracket pivot confirmed operating before the shelf is loaded. A side shelf with the pivot not confirmed will lock in the open or closed position when the bracket binds.
Lid assembly on a flat-pack BBQ requires the hinge pin to be seated fully before the lid is tested. A lid hinge that is not fully seated will allow the lid to drop to one side when opened. On a BBQ with a temperature gauge in the lid, the gauge is fitted after the lid is confirmed operating correctly.
Supply line connections are arranged separately and are outside the assembly scope. Confirming the BBQ build is complete before that appointment avoids moving a fully assembled unit. Pizza oven stands are positioned before the oven goes on. The stand level is confirmed before the oven is placed, because moving a stand after the oven is on requires removing the oven.
